Very nice place to camp there is plenty to do, including swimming at the park pool or playing at one of the many playgrounds. There are also alot of rivers and streams that would make excellent fishing spots on top of this there are hundreds of trails that are fully accessable. But the best part about this park is all the events they host, such at Mud Hero and many mountain biking races. All in all this was one off the better camping trips I've been on.

Went on an evening snowshoe hike, it was great. We did not register for the group hike. The pathway was makes with torches every so many feet and at the half way point there was a bonfire. They had bonfires at the start of the hike as well. It was great fun and a different experience walking the grounds at night.

I have spent the last 12 weeks in this campground during the week for work! I must say one of the most pleasant stays I have enjoyed! The staff and grounds crew are a fabulous group! They certainly added to a most beautiful park and a great experience! Thank you for the hospitality!

Beautiful park with lots of trails for hiking, cross country skiing and also biking. The day we went they were closed for cross country so we figured we would try what they call the ‘fat bikes’. We rented them for 2 hours and it was $35 per bike (plus a $500 deposit). For $50 you can have them for the full day but we were pretty tired after 2 hrs so it was a perfect amount of time. The trails are beautiful and challenging too which was a great way to get a workout in as well. Very peaceful place. Would definitely be back :)

Well groomed XC ski trails through beautiful forests only 45 min from Toronto. The tobogganing hill continues to be a favourite with my kids, but rentals are readily available from the chalet. Staff have been consistently thoughtful and helpful over many visits. Flush toilets and potable water on the lower level. Upper level in the chalet has tables and chairs and a microwave for brown bag lunches, but you can also buy soups, chili, hot dogs and such from the canteen at very reasonable prices. Weekends have the most food choices. Weekdays often have classes of juniors out on trails for a try, so choose a medium difficulty trail for more peace and quiet. I have not tried the fat biking, but rentals and trails were available.
